Windows 8 Developer Preview Free Download

Microsoft today released its developer preview of Windows 8 operating system.  Remember its only a pre-beta version of Windows 8, so you bear the risk of using it.  It may not be stable, work properly and also its not a guarantee that each and every feature of this preview version will be available in the final version.  The preview of Windows 8 is available for download in three different packages such as Windows developer preview with developer tools English (64 bit), Windows developer preview English (64 bit), Windows developer preview (32 bit).  All the three files are avilable in iso file format so that you can write it Disc or store it USB devices.



System Requirements for Windows 8 Operating System

Windows Developer Preview works great on the same hardware that powers Windows Vista and Windows 7:

    1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
    1 gigabyte (GB) RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit)
    16 GB available hard disk space (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit)
    DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver
    Taking advantage of touch input requires a screen that supports multi-touch

Google Chrome OS Source Code Available for Download

Search Engine Giant Google's much awaited project Google Chrome OS source code is now available for download. The Google Chrome Operating System is set to release in 2010. "We are trying to offer a choice for users," said Sundar Pichai, vice-president of product management, during an event at the firm's headquarters in Mountain view, California.
